Wrestling Season is here!

Wrestling Season begins on Monday, November 16th.  For the first day everyone will meet at the wrestling room on the second floor of Lancer Arena (boys locker room side) right after school.  Here are a few things you need to do before Monday.

1. Have a sports physical.  You cannot practice without one.  Sports physicals are good for one year.

2. If your parents did not attend the parent meeting on Nov. 3rd, have them contact the Athletic Director, Amanda Waters, at

3. Show up on Monday ready for a workout!  We jump right into training on day one, so bring workout clothes (P.E. clothes) and be ready to wrestle.  It is recommended that you get your own wrestling shoes, however, we do have some loaners for the first couple of weeks.

4. Spread the word!  Wrestlers come in all shapes and sizes.  You don’t have to be the biggest,  the fastest, or the most athletic.  We will teach to use YOUR strengths to be successful.  Whether you are 85lbs or 285lbs, tall or short, muscular or lanky, you can be successful in wrestling!
